Five Years later

This week I was gratified to receive a letter from a prisoner who trained in the DRM five years ago. In prison for violent crime, the judge described him as ruthless. Shortly after the DRM training, he became aware that he needed some sort of change and signed himself up to a change programme for prisoners serving life sentences.

The letter says this: ‘You helped me to talk about my feelings at a time when I didn’t fully understand them and I now know how I impacted my victims’, it goes on ‘on my release, I will start a new life with new people and no criminal ties’.

It feels good that the DRM was the catalyst which began this journey of transformation.
