The DRM 2019 Training Finale

As 2019 draws to a close, it’s time to shout out to the participants who made it to the finish line. It’s been an intense year of personal growth, training, practice, volunteering and working on live cases. The photo was taken last weekend at our closing community weekend.

Seated at the front you will see Kate and Chris who skilfully guided us in play and spiritual practice.

Chris Head is a sought after comedy director, script editor and trainer. His wife Kate Dineen practices Shamanic Healing.

So on Saturday we brought laughter into the space with Chris teaching us improvisation skills.

And, on Sunday Kate led us through a Despacho ceremony. Despacho is a prayer bundle used as a focus for celebration and an expression of gratitude. It can also be used to restore balance and harmony.

In our roles as DRM Facilitators and Mediators we strive to go beyond the intellectual and cerebral and into the realms of intuition, energy and spirituality so I teach the processes in parallel with the energetic.

It has been a soulful journey for all of us and I await what unfolds.

Maria’s Midweek Mindfulness

The weekend reminded me that Continuous Professional Development is not just about the theory and practice of the profession. It is also about opening to the creativity and spirituality of what’s possible.

The Wednesday Whisper

How do you bring creativity and spirituality into your life?

The 2020 DRM Training is now full and I’m excited about what this group will achieve.
